one vowel pomes

These were written in response to a challenge to write a poem using only one vowel.  So I wrote a pome for each vowel. J.D.

A - Abstract art

Ask any man;
    ask any arty tart

         what’s art?

Ask any angry brat;
     any arty bastard

          what charm art casts,

and  all say:

      art’s all

            art starts all

                 art has a part at any party

and abstract art

asks  all

      that art

           can ask.

E - Remember

Remember every text
we ever sent.

Remember the
sexy texts we sent.

Resend the sexy texts
we sent then.

Send me seventy sexy texts.

Press the x key.

Depress the Send key.

Remember  pressing
the x key then (seventeen exes!)

Remember pressing me then.

          Remember me.

               Remember.

Then press Delete.

I - Lip-Licking

I lick his lips.

His lips sing
  with whisky’s kiss.

I drink his kiss;
    his tipsy kiss.

His lips sting
    with whisky’s hiss.

I drink his lips:
    I kiss his kiss.

I kiss his lips:
    I drink his kiss.

I think
   this kiss is bliss.

o - Dogs 

Dogs droop;
dogs drool.

Dogs growl
for storms.

Dogs know how
to roll on bogs and moss.

Dogs howl
moons down.

Dogs 
do doggy dos.

Dogs won’t stop
or hold on.

Dogs long for
dogs.

Old dogs
 go to God.

Own dogs:

dogs do
no wrong.
