Three “how to” Videos for drawing
Emerald tree-monitor
a.k.a. Wyniss or Varanus prasinus
If the Torres Strait Island cultural group is coming to visit your school, you might like to write “Welcome Wyniss!” or “Wyniss” or “Emerald Tree-Monitor” or “Varanus prasinus” (the V is capital and the p is lower-case) on your finished drawing - or something else entirely :-)
maybe even ”***** ****** School welcomes Wyniss!”
Here is what Camp Hill Infants and Primary School produced ahead of Wyniss’ visit to the school - July 27th, 2021
And below - a photo of Wyniss in front of some of the artwork.
When I first met the performers on the day they came to school, Jeanette recognised me.
It took her all day to figure out from where (I take no credit). Great to see the excellent school show, and lovely to see Jeanette again - in very different circumstances. 🙂
